I recently attended Star Wars Fan Days 3 in Plano, Texas. While there a friend of mine told me of a mutual friend of ours who was working at Disney now on the Star Tours line ( Cody! ) and that he had helped develop a new R2-D2 collectible that would light up and scream at you. I made my mental note and added it to my ever growing list.

The next day as I was roaming the convention floor in the vendor area, I was approached by Patricia and Chris Cady, ForceCast fans and Rebelscum Forum members ( I could tell from their badges! ). We talked a few moments and then Chris gave me this very R2-D2, the one I had just head about the day before! As we blocked traffic making R2-D2 scream and light up kids of all ages asked "Where did you get that?!" Many parents were glad to learn it wasn't available at the show if you know what I mean :-)

So thanks to Tim S. for the heads up, Chris & Patricia for the hook up and Cody for the cool product!
