Check out this super cool custom LEGO R2-D2 by Peter Salter. It features motorized components such as a retractable third leg, rotating dome, and lights.

No sir, this 23.6″ tall labor of love actually boasts of a retractable leg, and is fully capable of lighting up. The sounds that you view in the video is not authentic but rather, recorded over, but Peter has plans to include a remote-triggered audio in his creation sometime down the road. To top it all off, its head is capable of rotating just like the real deal."
